No mountains here in Kansas, but that doesn't mean we still can't ski! Took the girls up for their first ski lesson at Snow Creek Ski Resort in Weston, MO. It started out cloudy and cold. Haylie thought it was pretty fun getting fitted for boots.
Yeah, they looked pretty silly learning the basics with their class.
Riding up the ski lift and practicing for the rest of the day. Girls kept telling Mike he used his poles too much. Girls didn't use poles the entire day. We ate lunch in the lodge and it ended up a beautiful sunny day to ski. I planted my butt in the lodge in front of the fire the entire time. :-)
