Here's the scoop. I was checking Royal Caribbean's website just to see their prices now for our upcoming cruise since the itinerary has been changed. In our original reservation back in January we paid a total of $2863 for the four of us for the cruise, taxes, and RT transfers between the airport and pier. However, because of the change in itinerary I am sure lots of people were canceling. So in order to fill the ship they were having a "deal". So I just had to do it. One itinerary change option was to cancel the cruise without any penalties. Normally at this point in time, you would loose 50%. You guessed it. I canceled our original booking for a full refund. THEN I turned around and re-booked it with everything staying the same for just $2102! That is quite a chunk of change in savings. And the funny thing is, our cabin is now just down the hall from the first one we had. Got to love those savings! I am going to check the website the night before we leave to see if any balcony cabins or suites were left unfilled and see if we can get upgraded when we check in.

You are always so good at saving money and finding the deals!!
Happy to hear of your savings. Glad you are happier about the whole change now.
Hopefully you found some fun things on the cruise to spend that extra $700 on! What if we hire you to be our travel agent??
